Here’s the Buzz…

Before I tell you how it was to work with Gwen...I want to tell you just a bit about me. I\'m not sure all bloggers are like this, but my blog is basically my third child. I worry about it, nurture it and am constantly watching it to make sure it behaves. So when I signed on with Gwen for a brand new theme and total overhaul of my blog design, I was so excited and wanted it to be perfect.

Well...I wasn\'t disappointed. Gwen hung in there with me through the whole process. From start to finish she was professional, tactful and patient. Believe me, she knows what she is doing. Her knowledge of WordPress is extensive and detailed. She updated my theme and design with a seamless transfer. The minute it went live, it was functioning properly. She had my best interests at heart from the beginning and didn\'t let me make questionable decisions without first offering better solutions. My respect for her is endless as is my admiration.

When I "met" Gwen I knew she was funny and yes...bold. What I learned while working with her is that she is also professional, knowledgeable and pays incredible attention to detail. She graciously stepped in when I needed help with my blog and worked with the design I already had. The entire process was truly a pleasure. LET THIS BOLD GIRL MAKE OVER YOUR BLOG (or your business). That\'s it. Really. I\'m not kidding.

If you don\'t believe me, take a look at my AMAZING blog design including a custom domain, beautiful social media buttons and gadgets! I was using a blogger template with no domain, email and links that didn\'t work and even my own mom was having trouble finding my blog. It was functional but not great.

In addition to integrating the various social media sites, and making my blog easier to find, I wanted a design that was more reflective of me and of my style. I wanted a design that is more contemporary , but with a vintage vibe. Something with both graphic and visual appeal that\'s not like any of the other designs that I\'ve seen. I wanted my blog design to be memorable. I needed a \"brand\".

Well, that\'s EXACTLY what Gwen did for Serendipity Refined! In just over ONE MONTH since the launch of the new design, my readership has nearly doubled and people are following me in more than one place. The design is everything that I had hoped it would be and a million times more.

It was easy, because Gwen \"GOT ME\". After only one phone call, she knew what I was trying to do and the look that I wanted to achieve. AFTER ONE PHONE CONVERSATION!!! There were choices to be made, but virtually no changes because Gwen listened to what I wanted and created a design that incorporated all of the elements that we discussed. That, and because she works magic. She made it painless, she answered ALL of my questions, it was quick, and easy, and beautiful!

Gwen was a total dream to work with. She went out of her way to really research what would be my dream design (creating a plan I LOVE and never would have thought to suggest) but she also has the computer know-how to seamlessly move your site to whatever platform you are wanting. Gwen has been a godsend in helping with my move from host to host. She was patient, explained each step, and handled it with grace and smarts!
